Absenteeism
Functionality is available to manage any number of different Absenteeism plans including vacation, sickness, personal, mandatory, maternity, FMLA, etc. All plans can be tracked both administratively and via the self-service and manager roles. All plans can be configured and parameterized to match your organizational needs.
With Sapien’s advanced workflow engine ‘managing’ absence or PTO no longer has to be a ‘job’. Workflow is associated with business rules that can trigger events, to help ensure that processes are completed on time. For example, simply entering a sickness absence could start a workflow to remind the employee, and the HR department, that a certificate is needed. A holiday request that remains unanswered for a specified period of time can be automatically routed to another approver. From now on you can let the system ‘manage’ the process for you!
