Leadership Team

Michael Bekiarian serves Sapien as the President and General Manager of the operation. Mr. Bekiarian was hired into Sapien in 2009 as the Director of Client Experience where he worked with existing and future clients to bring the “voice of the customer” directly into Sapiens everyday operating practice. Mr. Bekiarian worked internally to align all business processes across the organization to best serve its clients as an organization dedicated to providing robust technology and service solutions that go beyond software. In January of 2010 Mr. Bekiarian was named General Manager of Sapien and was then made responsible for the end to end management of the organization to include all aspects of Sales, Finance, Operations, Client Services and Professional Services. In May of 2011 Mr. Bekiarian was named President and General Manager of Sapien where his duties remain deeply rooted to the achievement of the highest levels of client satisfaction and daily operational oversight within each of Sapiens Departments.

Prior to Sapien, Mr. Bekiarian worked for Gateway Group One for 15 years as the Managing Director of Customer Service Programs. Working with the Port Authority of NY & NJ, Mr. Bekiarian grew a fledgling organization of 5 people into an international symbol of customer service consisting of 750 front line service representatives within the largest airport network in the World. The organization routinely delivered client satisfaction numbers within the 98th percentile across more than 150,000 customer contacts per day. Mr. Bekiarian achieved a national reputation as an expert in the area of client experience and consulted on several national projects including the Las Vegas Monorail. Mr. Bekiarian also worked as a Senior Consultant for Strativity Group and worked closely with Thomson Reuters in crafting and executing a national client experience initiative which raised client awareness within the Healthcare and Scientific divisions of that organization.

Mr. Bekiarian has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Centenary College and a Masters Degree in Management, Organizational Change from the College of St. Elizabeth. Mr. Bekiarian also serves on faculty as an Adjunct Professor at Centenary College. In his spare time Mr. Bekiarian is an avid golfer and participates in amateur tournaments across the country.
