BT, one of Europe’s leading providers of telecommunications services, has chosen HRM Software’s HRM Connect as the platform for a new pay review system. The system, which has already been used successfully to support the BT Managerial 2004 Pay Review, replaces BT’s existing manual and spreadsheet-based processes for pay and bonus review across its five lines of business, involving around 40,000 employees.

Ian Lambert, HR Systems Project Manager for BT, comments, "The fact that BT has completed the annual pay review of its 34,000 managers worldwide in record time is in no small part due to the capabilities provided by HRM Software. For the first time BT's Reward teams were in the position to monitor progress throughout the review, and as a result to provide direct support where needed. There has been very positive feedback from a number of the line managers conducting the review on how the screen designs simplified their task."

He adds, “The project for developing the pay review functionality in HRM Connect was completed ahead of time and under budget, and the quality of the deliverable was excellent.”

Nicholas Bolton , Managing Director of HRM Software, London comments, “We’re delighted to work for BT on this important project. There’s terrific potential in larger organisations to use web technologies to streamline fragmented and time consuming business processes. With HRM Connect, we’re able to automate and help manage complex HR business processes, thereby improving service delivery and reducing costs“.   Top

Nicholas Bolton, Managing Director of HRM Software comments, “Increasingly, leading organisations like Vodafone want to deploy HR planning systems across their whole business, providing secure access to a much wider audience than in the past. HRM Connect Executive, with its all-web architecture, inbuilt workflow and roles-based approach, provides an ideal platform.” He adds, “We’re delighted to be working with Vodafone on this exciting project.”

Gordon Bull Director of Global Learning Management for Vodafone comments, “A key strategic priority for Vodafone is to create a pipeline of senior management talent. With HRM Connect Executive we are able to pull together information on succession planning quickly and easily and in a format that supports effective decision-making and analysis. This will both save us a huge amount of time and ensure we have a more complete and up-to-date picture of our people, and our requirements, across the business.”   Top
